Has Anyone been able to play youtube videos from youtube mobile website on this? I read somewhere that u can play that on zine but everytime i try it opens my player and then gives an error "there s been error playin this file" I am able to play other streaming .3gp videos from sites like metacafe and tinytube just fine though.

I was having this problem too. Make sure that you're either using the default "Wifi" browser profile, or if you're using a custom browser profile go to Fun & Apps -> Web Access -> Browser Setup -> Browser Profiles -> Edit a Profile and make sure that "Cookie Proxy Policy" is set to "Use cookie proxy".

That fixed it for me (I think it did, anyway).

Edit: Just tried it, and apparently Cookie proxy policy doesn't affect anything. Youtube works for me regardless of the setting. Note that this is only using the built-in browser; it doesn't work using Opera Mini unfortunately

I just tried this myself and no go.
Funny thing for me is that trying to open any video in youtube, the phone will not connect to the video using wifi,it tries to access through gprs.
I have no sim in my phone right now so im getting a network error.
Using wifi with opera mini.

Strange..this is bugging me know.

Ok..update.
I used the phones built in browser and set the default connection to wifi.
Now i can access the videos and they open in the player but give me the error as EAlex had described.
Set the "Cookie Proxy Policy" to "Use cookie proxy" still no go.

Will investigate further.

well i think that zine wld not be able to play the standard youtube videos as their file format is .flv and not .3gp which inturn is dependent on flash lite which zine does not support, so it seems to be a distant possibility.

Man MOTOROLA wake up, we know that ur a dieing company but atleast make some effort to revive, other phones in this class offer flash lite, avi and even xvid playback capabilities, Alas! none from motorola reads our forums

Youtube mobile (http://m.youtube.com) gives you a 3gp version of a video. When you watch a video it opens the phone's video player with the .3gp version of whatever you're watching. It works quite nicely on my Zine:

Ok thanks.
Are you using the t-mobile as well?
I wonder if its a player issue?
Ive tried this with both wifi and using my service provider/network.
I get the same error as you.
