Alright. The display timeout is set to 15 seconds (which means that after 15 seconds of non-touching the phone, screen and keys go off).
I use Elegance 1.0 MP. I installed some applications, removed the Fonts folder from E:\Resource... I doubt this matters.
The problem is : sometimes (only one time per system boot - I don't remember to see this happening more than once per turn on if you know what I mean), the screen suddenly goes dark (before those 15 seconds), but the keys remain lit. If I press any key or slide open, the screen won't re-light. I must wait for those 15 seconds to pass in order to press a key again and re-light the screen.
What's the problem? I doubt it's a hardware problem - I can't beleive the flex band is already problemagic - or an FW issue - I used Elegance 1.0 before I flashed back to it from FoxMod 3.4 (so it's not the first time I use this MP after changing to another) and this never happened. What the hell :| ?
