This might be a pointless question but the only hang up I have with my z3 is the way it claims to be a media phone. Im wondering has anyone managed to fix it so you can play music and do other tasks, eg write txts. like you can on nearly every sony and nokia thats come out in the last year?

Yes you can. Once you start the media player, click options and then select hide. Now you can do what you want.

on mine, theres only now playing[#], pause playback , properties, repeat, and shuffle.
i had a similar problem with this fld, when i couldnt get to change my softkeys because they didnt have the option to. but now it does i think it was because i flashed a mma_ucp. but for the music player, i see no hide button

put everything in folder on your sd card.
Go to java on phone and click install and then go to the folder on your sd card and click on the jad (?)
no sure if it is jad or jad. That should intall it on your phone.
Yes it came from phone. With option to hide
