Flash and backup

I've heard that Flash&Backup doesn't work with the Z8 (too bad). But that's not why I created this topic.

I want to know if is there any way that RSD Lite flashes wrong. I mean... Could RSD Lite show PASS 100% even if the flash hasn't been ENTIRELY flashed? I asked some moto modders some questions regarding to unexpected turn off, reboot, "Home is restarting", freezes or other issues and they said "Reflash!". Reflash the same FW? To what purpose? It would be the same!

Now, about backup-ing :P. Motorola PcSync won't install on my PC (win7), but on my moms PC (lol) (winXP) it will. I want to know... If I make a full backup (whatever full means) with Motorola PcSync, flash another MP and then restore the backup, what will be restored? Applications, themes, media, settings, messages, contacts... ? I care more for the first 4 :D. Somebody... enlight me :P.

If you get an unexpected restart,just flash it again. I have this issue when I was using Elegance MP but on my friend's Z8 with Elegance MP it's just fine. I just don't know why it happened. Could be the files on memory card or anything.
I never backup using PCSync yet. So,I can't tell you about it.

Well, I am not willing to flash again :) . Not now, when I know Elegance 2.0 is on its way :D . I don't want to make all settings again... install themes, applications, games etc...

Okay, let's proceed to the backup :D . What exactly is being backup-ed with Motorola PcSync? Anyone (else)? :D

I have Motorola PcSync, version: 0.1.18 installed, although i dont really use this much.
You can see what is being backed up from my screenshot. These files are backed up from the phone memory. Give this a try before your next flash and check it out.

So... It just saves Media Files from C:\, Contacts, Calendar and Jotter entries... No settings, no applications etc... Useless to me :D . Thanks anyway.
