Cingular V3xx DRM

I ported an unbranded V3xx DRM for the Cingular V3xx using 3G-DRM 1.0.exe. I now have a CG15.smg I need to know if I can convert this to CG15.shx or do I need to find another program to flash it. I use RSD and F&B3 and neither one of these has the .smg extention for flashing....even though I was able to back up CG15 as a .smg using F&B3....Pleas Help I am almost there....

I use random .shx. You need 1 st to make a shx backup of the drm with fb3. Off your phone.

Then use random.shx to extract file to bin.
It will create a folder call Extracted Bin inside it there will be 4 files - 3 .bins and 1 lst

2.bin will contain the cg15.smg

now rename the smg that you create excatly the name of bin2.

ex: v3xxbackup2.bin

your is called: Created DRM - CG15.smg

so you would name it V3xxbackup2.bin
and replace the it with the one in the folder

Now open random.shx and click create shx from bin

Now you have a shx file.

If your a member of MotoX copy this and send it to dx-factor and see if he agrees. He is the master.

I have used this for z3 with no problem. But this a different model and 2nd opinion is always good.

Ya know I have this T-Shirt that says "Sometimes I Amaze Myself" and I have..... I did the port using your guide before you posted your last message and it came out almost perfect.....I only missed about 4 gifs, easily rectified....thank you for all your help and now I can port DRMs for my fellow Cingular users......

Quick note I used DRMPort to do it.

I use DRM-Port when porting all my DRM"s it seem to faster and less steps that Randoms SHX proggy. The recalc will let you make a SHX. or a SMG. file. That is so cool, and so is the DRM you ported, nice indeed.

I like old way. I tried the reclac thing and bricked my v3xx. But I do use the drm port
