Hi, I was wondering how the v3xx modding compares to modding the v31?? I used to have a v3i I modded the crap out of back in the day but sold it and went to nokia. I'm thinking of picking up a v3xx and doing a little modding on it. Will any of the v3i mods work with the v3xx?? what about seem mods, will they be the same?? I made all my custom wallpaper for the v3i will I be able to do this with skinner4moto/s4m xtreme? Which setting will I use the maxx or v3 setting??? Also should light skin be checked or un checked? Will all the p2k programs work with the v3xx like they did with the v3i?? What about ringtones from the trans flash??? What about fb3? will it read the att & cing phone now to make a full backup?? Some post I read say it does same say different. Any other info you care to reveal I'd be glad to hear.. So far my programs I have to mod are p2k tools vs, comander4.9e, mpt5.0, moto kit, skiman, motomidman, rsd lite4.5.5, p2k menu editor, xvi and thats just to name a few. Sorry for the long post.

wow that is questions :D
V3xx can not come close to all the hacks on V3i.
The mods will not work. Yes seem edit are close to all the same
WP for V3xx are 240x320 not the same V3i where 176x220
Skinner for moto use the s4m xtreme and uncheck lite. There are more images to make for V3xx skins.
As far as the P2k program I have them all working on my V3xx AT&T branded.
Motokit will not work- Skinman will. RSd lite and FB no problem

Thanks for the reply guys... I remember a mod for the V3i to where you could change the CL.gif file on the fly, Has anyone tried this on the V3xx yet??? I cant remember the seems off hand but you could do this from the mem card or phone. Is there a ringtone limit on the V3xx? Also can you have ringtones from the mem card?? I've been reading all I can but if its been discussed before I probably just missed it.
