Ok the first thing you need to do is remove the Battery. Wait a minute or two and put it back. I have had this prob with my k1's a few times.

Ok if this dont fix your problem, list what programs you used to flash your Phone with. And most important I hope you backed up your phone before you loaded the MP, so you can tell me what software version you had before.

Ok I think you may have stop the flash before it finished. What did you use to flash with. RSD Lite ver, or F&B3?

P2keasy tools can read your firmware. But it's not readable with RSD lite. AND flashing it back is not as reliable as with an FB3 backup.

You should be able to load your backup with Easy tools. to get youir phone back to normal. Or download another mp.

I still need to know the original firmware version. He might have had a "sticky". If your SW version was newer than R4527_G_08.42.09R then that would be the reason why it's stuck.

Try to flash your backup again or find the same original SW version of your phone. You can then disect the MP and just flash dmattsteph's CG2 and CG15.

Do you see any sticker on the back of the phone, under the battery, stating the SW version? I'll try to see if I can find the newest stock firmware for your phone.

Put the phone in bootloader mode, then use RSD lite to load another MP, or use F&B3 to load it or wait a minute and I will upload my original version.

Am I reading this right? 08.12.10R_B seems to be too old for a firmware version. Are you sure it's not 08.42.10R?

Edit: Never mind. I just saw the same firmware version on a download link on M3. I am not sure if the link is allowed so I wouldn't post it.

I'm not sure what it means but I found MP's with names starting with CMCC. I have no idea if it's relevant or not to your problem.

My firmware is a full backup right out of the box. You can put your phone in bootloader mode, open RSD Lite, hook the cable to the phone, locate software, start download.

Before you start to load your phone make sure your phone is listed in the RSD box and the Model number is there, port #, USB type and imei# of your phone is listed, and it says connected. before you hit start..

Make sure you get a copy of Flash & Backup ver 3.06(F&B3), go head and register it cause you gonna need the full version, its only 10 bucks. Use it to load my backup and you should be alright.

If you can't do it yourself, you can try visiting www.unlocktotalk.com and look for a local unlock center in your area. They should be able to do that with their unlock boxes.

I just hope that your original FW version is R4527 and not R452H4

I am recharging the battery now seems to drain fast. I don't know what the old bootloader was. I just keep tryn different MPs I even found just ATT or Cingular ones, But no go.

Does anyone know if there is just a Boot Loader File I could try instead of a whole MP.

There is no bootloader file for any of the phones after the V3 Razor.

You said you bought the phone on ebay, was it new? Wheather it was new or used go to the Motorola website register the phone. Once you input the imei# the site will tell you how much warrenty is left on the phone. If it has any warenty left on it fill out a service request on-line, send the phone back. They will fix it free or send you another one if it has any warenty left on it at all. These phones just came out in Oct-Nov 06, so there should be warrenty left on it. P.S. No matter what you have done to it, if they ask ouestions tell them you tried to update the software on line but did not understand what you were doing.

Yes remove the Battery and you will see it. Now it seems as though you have PDS damage. Which comes from alot of thing but mostly from a bad flash.

Then get a 1 day pass for GOT (www.got.bz) to repair your PDS and do a full flash.

Yes you have to take it apart, but only the back part.

Everything you have tried has failed. It will cost you around $6 for the adapter (plus shipping). 1 day pass for GOT is only $5 (paypal account required). So less than $20 to fix your phone.

I dont know if you remember what software you had on your phone originally or if you have a backup. But I just got my replacement V3xx and tried flashing it with file from myolder V3xx. Messed it up I was getting the same error messages as you are. I used F&B3 to reflash my backup and the phone came back to life. I had to flash it two time but it worked. You should try this if you have a backup. If not post your original S/w version, flex version and ask if anyone has it.

My original back-up that I posted for you was a world fone, not chinese. I dont know if it worked for you with RSD lite but I am thinkin it will bring your fone back to life if you flash it with F&B3 full version... I noticed that when ever I get errors in RSD Lite I go to F&B3 and problem solved.

Here ya go plus a small tut.

Its on page three of this thread. in my post where it said get it here click on here! Download it unrar(unzip) it. Put it where you can find it. open up F&B3, let it find your fone if it will not put your fone in Bootloader mode. click on settings, find the backup file highlit it and click on ok. Click on write data at the top left, at the top right click on k-1 krzr. at the bottom right click on backup file. a box will popup it should have the backup file in it the you selected in settings. Now click on write data. This should work. Do not used quick flash.

I had email contact with the person who now owns this phone, he fixed it in like 20min. I included his email to me regarding what he did. The thing that stumps me is I did all this to no avail. I did everything he did with NO results, so I don' tknow what the difference was and why he got it working and I did not. ANY clues out there.

this is the reply the person gave me to what he did, and these are all things I tried, all I could think of is does the v of RSD lite matter, or could it be my usb cable? I also tried with FB3 on both XP and Vista.

Cause I tried this over and over. I followed all the post and instructions, this is weird.

OK, if anyone is still monitoring this thread, I have some info that I think can be helpful. I have a Rzr V3r and decided to go ahead and give it a flash. I FIRST did a full proper back up with FB3 (registered), then proceeded to find a appropriate MP for the r version.

Process failed with the same problem and error message as with my Krzr. My first thought was CRAP!

Then I started to think WHAT could the problem be, as my Krzr was giving ME the same repeated problems.

SO, I just thought, Im gona try another cable. SO I did, reflashed with same MP and PASS!

Think all that time it was the STUPID cable? Can the cable show all the info on RSD or FB3 connect and even read YET cause such a serious error in transfer of MP?

That is OK, I thought if I shared this that maybe the next modder can be SAVED! I should of thought of it, and actually briefly DID, then rejected the idea because it read the phone and even created files, but would not "complete" the flash. AND with all the help it was never mentioned to me, so I should of just changed the cable and at least tried.....

SO if ANYONE out there can use this, and it can be of help, then the loss isn't a total one! PASS the info!

right out of the box phone didn't work tried everything so itook it as a loss got a new phone works great came with phone tools moto usb cable got the idea to try new cable on old phone worked like acharm so don't feel bad never thought it could be as simple as that
