Heya guys my new fw will be out soon !! Till then here's a video abt the speed of the fw !! let me know what you feel abt it after seeing it , the vid's taken from a nokia e65 , it even shows the mgx apps present in the linux menu and this is the default speed of the fw before activating 532 Mhz CPU Speed !! :smokepipe:

Honestly bud, I don't notice any difference with that video. maybe it's just me but anything new will be great. I have nothing stored on my phone memory but still, it's so slow, I could throw the thing and it would take a day to even hit the ground.
None the less, I'm looking forward to it. Scratch that. I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT!

side note - I'm getting a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 IF it hits T-Mobile. So let's keep our fingers crossed...

looks nice man...... hey could you add one more thing in this flash.... could you add something which would make it easy to make playlists..... cause it is a very troublesome right now.... could you add something like if we select all the files in a folder and select option... there would be option apply to--playlist option !!!!

if possible it would be great as all of us are facing problems to make playlist....specially when we a maaaaaany songs.....

Superb Nik.. Great FW modification.. Just a comment on the revised ROKR envy skin, it will better if main menu item name only appears on selected item. When shown to all might be a problem to some custom fonts..

nik i gotta an idea, can u make Nik Stallion e8 PLUS EDITION with:
all emulators:
dosbox
scummvm
gba
gbc etc
and all mgx games:
hexen
super tuc
jack rabbit etc

if it is possible can you create a folder like "Linux" and put these things in it. there is a free icon in iconres (this for shuffle) and u can use it like "certificate_mgr" icon for linux menu

That is actually a good idea bud. Ya we could use a little pre-packaged option for entertainment. Emulators should be loaded with goodies.

This is my reason. I know where to find these emulators but I have no idea how to use them or where to find the roms for them.

So Nik, could you be like Microsoft and put out versions of the same thing this time? I know it's a little more work but maybe it could be a turning point.
