I've just bought a desktop pc for my sister, core2 duo 2Ghz, Asus Mboard, 2GB DDR2 Ram, Nvidia Graphic Card, it runs Vista Home Basic, but every 5 min, it hangs... Anybody else had this experience?
Does Vista really s***ed? :(

I tried Vista Ultimate for almost two months.
I have removed it and went back to XP.
Too many little bugs.
Maybe I am just used to XP after so many years with it.
Didn't have that much trouble with it hanging.

Vista sucks. It's too dramatic when installing a program... I'll wait until a hacked version of SP1 comes out

I haven't had any real issus with it, besides it sometimes randomly reinstalling device drivers. That's why I run dual boot :D

Using Vista, LONG LIVE XP!
Vista is a memory hog... and to me, its worthless until service pack 2 is released. Buggy, lags and has no driver support for most printers, scanners, etc...
I beta tested it for Microsoft, so I developed a distaste for it a long time ago

I've only got 1gb of ram on my PC and Vista enjoys every nibble of it. I can't get drivers for my printer or sound card. Some of the software that I use doesn't work yet....etc....My video card isn't whatever enough - but I use XP everyday with no problem. i got AMD64 Athlon 2.4GHz, 1Gb Ram, 140 gig drive and NVidia graphics card too. I thought this was a pretty nice system, has a DVD burner that'll burn anything on the planet (No blue ray) but Vista Home Premium doesn't get along with it for some reason. I'll wait for the SP too.
