OK, it's obvious that I am new at this, so bear with...
I have been unable to use any flash software, etc for my phone whatsoever, it just doesn't work. I have been able to use the SKIMAN software to upload some new skins with limited success (I get the occasional application error and I have lost the clock on the inside screen - Let me know if there is a fix for that!!!). I just ran across this bulletin that talks specifically about my phone, but the link takes me to something different, so can someone please let me know if I am on the right track?!!
My phone:
Boot Loader 0A.52
SW Version
R3443U2_G_0E.C
0.15R
When I click the link for this specific phone it takes me to the R4515 stuff on another site. Is this correct? Keep in mind I can't even do a backup on my phone yet... H....E.....L......P!!!!

First, welcome to Motomodding.
There are different S/W versions of the v3r, depending on the carrier.
Boot Loader 0A.52
SW Version R3443U2_G_0E.C.0.15R
Based on this info, I assume your carrier is T-Mobile.
First thing you need to do is get Flash&Backup 3.0.6, if you don't have it.
It is $10.00 and worth every penny of it.
This will allow you to back up your phone.
There should be no problem with any programs working with the v3r
Make sure you have the latest drivers.
You can get them on my 4shared site listed in my sig.
Motorola_End_User_Driver_Installation_2.9.0.rar
The S/W on my 4shared site is for the R4515 v3r.
There are MP's and other files available for the R3443.
Do an advanced Google search for R3443u2 to find them.
If you have problems finding them, let us know.
If you have problems getting the programs to work, let us know.
But do not do anything until you back up your phone.

General Info on v3r's.
V3R's have an "a" and "c" drive
V3R (R4515) has 0A.30 and 0A.52 boot loader RSA protected
V3R (R3443U2) has 0A.50 / 0A.52 boot loader RSA protected
All programs should work, with no problems.
1: DRM’s from the 4515 can be used on the R3443U2, but not the other way around.
2: Fonts can be NO bigger that 19 pixels
3: Use RSD Lite to flash the phone.

OK, Sounds good - I am waiting on the verify for the backup....
Honestly, I am not trying to do anything crazy to the phone, just play. Right now I am mad about the damn clock... that is SOOOO annoying, I use it all the time!!!

I am rounding up some MP's for the R3443u2.
Nighfall, kirklestat, knorvell, 98xploder, Clarkey and others have created
or helped to create some excellent MP's for the R3443u2 phones.
I take no credit for these MP's and the credit goes to those mentioned above.

You rock! i just ran across some of the stuff by nightfall, etc... Some of the MPs sound cool. Can you adjust any of the features that you don't care for on these or is that considered a "no-no"?

You can adjust them. Just make sure you have good backups.

Looking over some posts (SOME, HA HA HA) I found one that was an attaboy for leaving the clock on the inside screen in one of the skins in the MP that he got. If it is just a matter of coding, is there a general .ini or something that I can load on mine to put the clock back or am I somewhat off-base, here?
