Jack, glad to see that you didn't go "cold-turkey". More people quit for good doing it the way you are. Congrats and good luck to you

That is great and I hope that you keep that strength to make it even longer. One hurdle down, keep on trucking!

Congratulations
I quit 10 years ago on the 22nd of August.
I had tried the patch and tried to stop for 6 months before I actually did.
I did not have any patches for about a month. Went and got some wore 1 the first day
the next day I got up and just said enough is enough and that was it.
Three weeks later I went to a comedy club and wanted a cigaretts so bad after the show stopped at a store bought a lighter, a pack of cigs. Fired one up and hacked. I throw the cig,
the lighter and the pack of cigs right out the window.

Keep it up and good work. You know you got it kicked when you can have a few beers (drinks)
and not want one.

You all keep at it because you can do it. Like I said once before and the thing I kept in my head is "I was created in the image of a God, then how come a few dried leaves and paper can control me so much?" No answer to that question. Just mind over matter and it isn't impossible we are with you guys all the way.

I quit drink right away never looked back. But this smoking is sooo hard to do.

When I see in front of the PC is when I smoke the most.
I here all the time.
