MPT is always presenting problems.
I have the lastest version and it doesn't have the v3xx.

settings--->change modem---->Z3i

also it should work if you use the V3i setting, its just annoying cuz you see the V3i pic and not the Z3.

at least you can back up your phone book tho

If you have the newest one, it'll work. I use it all the time when I'm sitting on the computer. So I don't have to send texts with my phone. I just type them.

i'm using MPT 451c...

yea... I connect my V3 and it works fine, but my Z3 won't read phonebook or sms messages

SOmetimes it help to reboot your machine with the phone connected. You may have to run the MPT fone detection several time or load your fone modem more than once to find your phone.
