Someone asked me on Modmymoto how to remove MOTOCAST from the T-Mobile firmware. It's basically the same way as removing screen 3, but with a few extra files to delete.

Alright, here's the deal. Motocast is just another way to say Screen3. It's the exact same thing. Soo.... that being said, here's how to remove it.

1. Open up P2K Commander, and have it read your c drive.
2. Go to c/ mobile/ kjava/ installed and remove everything associated with j2me6. There should be 4 files.
3. Now do these seem edits.
seem 0032_0001 - offset A9 - bit 1 (1 on/0 off) set to off
seem 0032_0001 - offset B9 - bit 0 (1 on/0 off) set to off

That should get rid of Motocast.

To get rid of the menu items and the MOTOCAST in the personalize menu, go to a/mobile/system and copy your mma_ucp. Open it in MMA Advanced Editor and remove all references to MOTOCAST. Also delete motocast.xhtml, motocast_logo and motocast_stylesheet from a/mobile/system. That did it for me.

Restart your phone and you should no longer have MOTOCAST enabled or running.

And just so everyone knows, if you save the jar and jad files to your computer that are in c/mobile/kjava/ installed, you can open the jad file for each number (i.e: j2me6) and see what the program is. It's listed in there.
