Could you explain exactly what this .hs changes? Does it just edit a seem, or does it do something else? I would like to know exactly what it does so that I can undo it if I want to.

ok, when I try to flash it with RSD Lite v3.8, I get "Error occurred in flex operation. Flex operation was unable to open the flex file; phone connected". I tried it with my phone in normal mode and flash mode. What am I doing wrong? Should I use some other program for flashing this file?

It will be working on normal mode...

I have tested on V3xx and V6 Maxx and it works.

I've been flashed always with RSD Lite.

Stupid question, did you extract it from the .rar

yes, I did, but it never hurts to ask. But I must have some kind of RSD problem, I can get it to flash anything, even things that work perfectly with Flash&Backup. Does anyone know of anything other than RSD Lite that will flash .hs files?

We use the RSD Lite 3.9, but It could be an issue at your PC.

Looks like offset 338 and at a guess, modding it from 00 (on my v3xx) to 03 (bits 0 and 1 =on). This is only from looking at the file in hex. Don't have the time to test now but if anyone does the flash, backup 004e before and after the flash, then compare 338

I tested it out on the MLD firmware, and there was no change in video length, size, or apparent quality.

As far as I know, its only the new AT&T phones (what I have).

There is a thread in the MotoX forums with more information on this topic. Someone found the seem edits, and I tested them, but I got some unusual results.

You need to pay attention to edits and firmwares you are uploading to you mobile. Alot of edits and flexes, and flashes that are meant for the LD will brick the MLD>

I know there is that possibility, but I am prepared with several reliable backups with Flash&Backup.

There are a lot seem edit that don't work for the AT&T phone that work for international. I have been going through some of them on the V9. I had no luck getting them to work

FLD could yoiu post your 0032, 004a, 004b 0206-0209 seems so I can have a look at them.
