Z10 HELP! I need P2S721_U_50.20.2DG for the Z10.

It contains only two languages, Simplified Chinese and UK English.

There are numerous dead links and corrupted files for P2S721_U_50.20.2DG all over the Internet. An example of corrupted files is http://www.mofan.mobi/firmware/4.html

If you are fluent in Chinese, please contact http://www.mofan.mobi/firmware/4.html and advise them that their files are corrupted.

I have contacted somebody, but that could take a few days.

I appreciate your suggestions but I really need the Chinese (Simplified) and UK English.

Regarding http://www.mofan.mobi/firmware/4.html, their files are still corrupted. I have downloaded from the above site several times and each time I ended up with a corrupted file. I also downloaded some software for recovering corrupted .rar files but it did not work.

I have attempted to get through to someone at Motorola that can help me but I can never get past their first line of defense.

Does anybody know someone at Motorola who could help me?

Please contact them again and request a NEW copy of P2S721_U_50.20.2DG.

Have you been to http://www.motobbs.com ? I suspect they may have P2S721_U_50.20.2DG? I saw several interesting downloads at http://www.motobbs.com (http://motobbs.com) but I could not download anything from their site without registering first and you can only register in Chinese. My Chinese is not that good. Please request them to enable registration in English (or any other language using the Roman alphabet).

UPDATE!

There is definitely something wrong with one of the files at http://www.mofan.mobi/firmware/4.html (e.g. http://data.mofan.mobi/Motorola/Z10/P2S721_U_50.20.2DG_MoFan.Mobi.rar ).

However, there is NOTHING wrong with the middle file ( http://data.mofan.mobi/Motorola/Z10/P2S721_U_50.20.1DG_MoFan.Mobi.rar ). In fact, the middle file is labeled INCORRECTLY! It is actually P2S721_U_50.20.2DG_00000de6 which is identical to factory installed firmware as supplied by Motorola on Z10s sold in Asia.

This is the first time I changed the firmware on a Motorola Z10. It took a LONG time compared to a Motorola Z8.

If you are having problems installing the middle file, make sure you have the LATEST VERSION of the Motorola RSD Lite. Also, before you begin, do a MASTER RESET on your Motorola Z10.
