all of us we have see a lot of times the "other " data on our iphones being bigger and we do not know why...

some things included in this part of space are
1.itunes library cache
2.photo library cache
3.all stuff in "document" files of apps (videos, photos, pdf's,downloaded data, etc)
4.caches of applications
5.safari browser (history,cache)
6.messages

some of them we can easily clean them by ifile, manually, and remove them (if we don't need them any more)

there is a easy way to throw out this and clear space in our idevices

My method to clear the ‘other’ data:

Go to Diskaid (http://www.digidna.net/products/diskaid) and download their program (you have 14 days free, so either do this quickly (and hope it doesn't happen again) or pony out the cost to get this program for good)
Install and run Diskaid, start iTunes running, and connect your iPhone to your computer
In Diskaid, change the view to media folder, navigate into the iTunes Control and then the Music Control folders.
Delete all sub-folders and sub-directories inside of the Music Control folder
Close Diskaid, go into iTunes, and sync your iPhone WITHOUT the music (make sure to uncheck the sync music choice)
Unplug the iPhone, restart it, and then plug it back in
Go back to iTunes, sync your iPhone with everything you want (including music, make sure to check it again)
Boom, you are done, and have your room back

These steps should work for everybody, and should fix any problem that can arise regarding other files and your iPhone, iPod Touch, and/or iPad.

another thing you have to remember allways!
downloading any part of video, photo, archive by safari download manager,or downloads and browsing it with the compatible application,(video player for video, photo library for photo, pdf ,documents like doc,txt etc) the stuff we viewing each time it copied and in documents file of application we use for viewing it!!

so a lot of times we have duplicated stuff in memory, whith what it means :y:

my regards Dimitris

In Diskaid, change the view to ‘media folder,’ navigate into the ‘iTunes Control,’ and then the ‘Music Control’ folders.

It might be from the copy and paste over.
