Recently I was informed that some people managed to remove the RSA protection on the V3x.Now they are able to use REALLY GREAT APPS like XploreMe and KD Player!!You can do everything with these apps and I am so jealous!!

So I would like to know how this RSA removal can be achieved on a V3xx and how it was achieved on other Motorola phones.

Have you tried to remove it with Flash&Backup?
I tried it a while ago. It appeared to work,
but had no real way to test it.

Under the firmware tab, there is a new RSA removal for lte2 phones.
I used it to remove the RSA and saved the file.
MotoCat checked the firmware
and it appears to have removed the RSA code.
Try it, as I don't think you can hurt anything.

I believe that the LTE2 phones are the SLVR L7 etc and not the V3xx,Maxx.

You may be right. I deleted all my PM's at MotoX.
I think it may have been the v3r we did it to.
Sorry, for the mis-information....

Is this possible?

RSA can-t be removed for Argon platform yet.

Applications can be signed so they work without asking permission. Request a developer certificate from Motorola and they will most likely give it to you.

I have Xploreme signed and it works flawlessly.

BTW, regarding my status, i do know what P2K is, lol

Yeah, lol, da russians r workin on this i think, and hopefully soon it will come out, Maxx/v3xx are P2k05, not lte2, so we can't simply remove RSA like that, though hopefully a hack for it is coming! 8)
