What about the friends in buddy list
Woody
06-10-2011, 04:43 PM
Unfortunately we've unable to restore that part of the database, so you'll have to add your friends again. :smoke:

Yes, Tapatalk is working for me!

Woody do you still have my "old" avatar, the animated gif?
I tried over the UserCP, but it would not have it, so I reduced the size and haved the frames, but it still does not shows the animated one.
Send me a PM, meanwhile I will use another one.
Woody

Sorry Ras - I can't find it anywhere. Can you send me what you have and I'll try to make it work? :smoke:

Sure, is attached.
btw I had to use zip as it would not accept rar.
Woody
06-10-2011, 05:25 PM
As I can see only problem was that the file is exceeding the allowed file size - therefore I've increased the avatar filesize for your usergroup.
You can use it now Ras. :smoke:

Ad. 1. User status (for example: "Linux Master") was under the avatar right ?
*New* : is there any way to separate Sticky threads and not sticky ? (a bar or something)
Woody
06-10-2011, 07:35 PM
1. Wrong - Title was always above the avatar.
2. Yes, there's an add-on that will do that when installed. :smoke:

see this, http://www.indeep76.com/screenshots/5/4/9/549383.jpg
header had those buttons:
Home, Forum, Donate!, Recent Posts, Downloads, Official MMUS guides
and bottom had:
Register, Faq, Members list, Calendar, Today's Posts, Search
(those are settings for non logged user)
Woody
06-10-2011, 08:22 PM
OK, so now we have:
Top navbar:
Home, Forum, Donate*, New Posts, Downloads**, Calendar
Second navbar:
Register, FAQ, Members List, Search
*Will be available after add-on installation.
**Will work after the content upload is finished.
Except for the Guides (whole section needs to be re-made) and Calendar position, I don't see much difference...? :smoke:

How about installing [you] mod ?
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=183526
Auto tagging threads should be also helpful to search thru forum ;)
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=179772
Sticky and normal threads separator
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=165550
Spoiler mod can be useful to hide descriptions of file (can be shown by one click) to see only preview and download link ;)

Thank you for the suggestions and pointers Jacek95.
Installed are mods 2 & 3.
I don't see any real need for 1 and I really don't get the idea behind mod no. 4. Would you care to elaborate on this? :smoke:
Dumba
06-13-2011, 08:19 PM
4 , the spoiler is used to hide a complete code for example. That way the post doesn't become like a never ending page. All in a spoiler which opens up by clicking it.
Leads sometimes to errors with { as well as } in codes.

Thanks Dumba, I know this - thing is we are not a coding forum, therefore most of the posts are relatively short.
What I don't get is - knowing the above, why would we need this add-on? :smoke:

MMUS Forum is running vBulletin 3.7.4
While the latest for vBulletin 3.x.x is 3.8.7 Beta 1
Woody

It has nothing to do with the vBulletin version, but with a corrupted template.

When you view your profile & click the About me tab the Biography field actually lists options to select your Country instead.
Also, will the View Forum Leaders link be enabled again near the Mark Forums Read link ?
