I'm making sigs!

Yes, i will be making sigs for anyone here, just tell me what u want (picture, theme animation writing" and if possible supply some pictures. The default size i make is 500 x 100. If you would like a diffrent size please state. Here is one how to animtate the sigs
Made by Mrsteve
1) Make a new canvas 500 x 100 resolution 72 ppi.(file>new)

2) decide on a background color and use the paintbucket tool to make the bottom layer that color (or select the layer in the layer pane and click edit>fill. in the dialog box, select "color" in the dropdown menu, then select your color and clik "OK")

3) choose your font and using the text tool, enter what you want it to say. click the green check in the toolbar at the top of the photoshop window to accept the text. size it to fit. (edit>transform>scale again click the green check to accept changes.) add any blending options (alt+click layer select blending options) you may want it to have.(bevel & emboss, outer glow, drop shadow, etc.)

4)in the layer pane, alt+click (command+click for mac)the text layer and select "rasterize text"

5) with the rectangular marquee tool, draw a rectangle around the text not too close to either end. you want to leave room for the entire text to be seen when it scrolls past.

6) at the bottom of the layer pane click the "add layer mask" button. (if you don't know which one it is, hover your pointer over the buttons to see the tool description)

7) again in the layer pane clik the the 3 links of chain looking thing between the text thumbnail pic and the layer mast thumbnail pic on your rasterized text layer to un-link the mask from the text. (this allows your text layer to move while the mask remains in a fixed position) Make sure you click on the text thumbnail to select the text and not the mask

8) Click "window" and select animation to open the animation pane.
Make sure you have the MOVE tool selected in the tool pane.

9)with your text layer selected, press and hold the right arrow key until your text scrolls far enought to no longer be visible.

10) at the top and far right side of the animation pane is an arrow with a circle around it. click it and select new frame. now scroll your text to the far left until it again, can no longer be seen.

11) hover your mouse over the buttons at the bottom of the animation pane till you find the "tween" button and click it. set it to add 50 frames. play your animation. if it's choppy, stop it, then undo (alt+ctrl+z) and redo the tween, setting the tween value higher. if it's too slow, undo and lower the tween value. play with it till it looks the way you want.

12)in order to save it as an animated gif, click (file>save for web). if you save as... or just save, you will only get whichever frame is selected in the animation pane
