Here is the fast keypad lock SEEM edit for v3i. I have it on my V3i (my wife uses that) and it works. Now when you engage it the screen seems to go blank like the phone is off but when you press a key the screen illuminates and you see the message to unlock "Press Menu and * to unlock key". This was found by TechnoDude007. You may not want to try it since it's a clam shell phone any ways but hey you never know.
Using XVI32 to SEEM edit or any other SEEM editing program of your choice.
SEEM 0032_0001 offset 29

Settings > Security > Lock Keypad (1 on, 0 off)=(it works for v3i) after u do this u only have to press Menu and * to lock/unlock keypad.
