Thanks for the guide clarkey!
@spike, the skin is called Love skin by unknown author for the V3 from another forum, it was ported by cloud strife to RIZR and KRZR for me.
I wish I knew who to thank for it, and give proper credit to. I really like it. I guess I could post it, but I don't know how, and I don't know if I need permission from someone or anything since it comes from another forum? How does that work? I would like to contribute something to hopefully give back for what's been given me here.

Did I read somewhere that RSD Lite can mess up a K1?
The general opinion around different forums is "Use F&B3 to backup (not that you have much choice in this area) and RSD lite to flash.
The reason give most often is that people have more faith in a Motorola software package doing what is supposed to do when it comes to a critical process like burning.
I am very inclined to agree with this philosophy (if anyone should know how to build a flash program correctly it is almost a given that that would be Motorola) and the most up to date of RSD lite is generally easy to come by.
And if it helps you feel more secure remember that RSD lite is what Motorola supplies to service centers and to the best of my knowledge RSD lite 3.7 it the current version. Also if you have concerns about using "the latest and greatest" most of the changes in RSD lite from version to version is the addition of new phones models as they come out.
Regards
PS - Another nice reason to have RSD lite at the ready is when for whatever reason you can't get a third part program to see you phone just run RSD lite minimize it to the tray and usually without fail the third party program will be able to find and communicate with your phone.

Hi y'all! I'll have to admit that I've been using RSD Lite to flash since my last post in this thread
(sorry, it's been so long)
I have to say that you guys were right!
Glad I took your advice!
It is definitely the way to go as far as flashing goes!
