recieving mms

My new maxx is looking pretty good but I can't receive incoming mms, searched high and low for a resolution to this prob with no avail, Internet and regular text works great.
VL version maxx unlocked ,unbranded, and with Rogers. Tried all the settings posted in Howard forums w/no luck, can send pics no prob just can't receive, I get error "can't download try again later". I talked to the tech guys at Rogers and Motorola and they tell me the phone is not compatible with my network, they're surprised I'm even able to use it with the network.
Swap my SIM to my V9 no prob it works, so the service is off the hook. Just flashed russothemax monsterpack and redid all my websessions, still no luck, not sure what to make of this?

MMS is a service that network dependent, must be its only because of your provider does not support MMS on the phone, full stop. I have same experience with one brand of phone with my network, the phone got GPRS and MMS, but my network just does not support. One way to test it is by swapping with other friends with different network and test. As for now, nothing can be done yet... Sorry.

Not exactly what I wanted to hear, just find it strange that I can send the pics no problwm yet I can't receive, everything else works great.
Wonder if there is a mod out there similar to the U.S carrier trick to fool the network? That would be sweet!
