Trying to change mib_op_greet file for browser startup, as well as start/shutdown sounds in my Rogers V9.
There's no sign of these sounds at all so I flashed sevens new MP for AT&T. While using this MP I noticed the mib_op_greet file was located in a/mobile, as well as the start/shutdown mp3 sounds were in a/mobile/audio.
I've had to flash back my Rogers and am back at square 1 with these 2 issues, any ideas as to why I can't find those files? Possible seem edits maybe?
As far as the mib_op_greet file is concerned, I do have the file I want to use, could this be changed to a gif and then edit drm accordingly? The mib_op_greet file is the flaming planet browser gif, thanks in advance !

You can the image mib_op_greet Have you create the image name as mib_op_greet then remove the ext before you upload it. Make sure you save the original.
As far the the others stuff, I can not help you there.

Ok, I've split the drm and extracted gifs, the one I want to replace is named 0017 (240x320).gif
Are you saying to rename my mib_op_greet file to 0017 (240x320) and install in drm? And if so will there be any size issues involved? Thanks!

Quick up date.
Took the mib_op_greet file renamed to 0017 (240x320) and then opened with my Nero photo editor, checked all the dimensions and looked good, so I just saved as 0017 (240x320) in gif format, outcome is 5.29 kb compared to over 50 kb from the original, doesn't seem right?

Ok, looks like I can convert the 200kb mib_op_greet file to a gif and hold the same file properties, then insert into gif folder (via the correct id). Problem is drm over flow? Never had much luck with this issue, any ideas out there?
The gif I'm loading in position 0017 (browser startup gif) is about 150 kb higher, tried deleting other non essential gifs with no luck. So close, but so far away!

Any thoughts?

Thats it! All figured out!

I actually converted the mib_op_greet file with "the gimp" and it held its 290kb value, edited the drm accordingly as far as eliminating certain frames of certain gifs and all is good, thanks for all the input!
