display date

anyone know how to display the date on the main screen and on the outside screen? i can't get it to show up anywhere and there is no setting for it.

I am not sure if its the same as V3 but try this for date on main screen settings>Initial setup>Time and date. As far as displaying the date on the outside screen i dont think that can be done with V3re.

No problem displaying it on the main screen.
I have it displayed on mine.
It depends on the skin you have.
If you install a skin using Skins Manager, you have the option to
show or hide the date, if the skin supports it.
On the outside lcd, don't know. Checking to see if it can be done.

The only option I have in settings>Initial setup>Time and date is Autoupdate (on/off). I tried all 4 of the default skins and none of them show the date or add any options in the Time and Date section.

Solved this. Needed to disable myFavs:

SEEM 0032_0001: offset BE: bit 5: MyFavs (1 on, 0 off)

No worries, I only found out myFavs was related after I made the initial post.
