well..a delivery report is actually a message u get when u send an sms to a person confirming whether the recipient has received it or no

I just flashed my phone a few days back and before the flash i wasn't able to make the permanent delivery work.Now it works just fine.The difference of now and then is that when i go create a new message it prompts me first for the type of the message (sms,mms.voice etc).Before flashing i didn't have that prompting.So maybe for the permanent delivery to work the seem edit

offset B1 - bit 0: Messaging > Create Message > Prompt for Message Type (ie. SMS/MMS, Voice, E-Mail) (1 on, 0 off)

needs to be enabled?Just posting that for people that may be in the same situation i was
(note: I still have the same firmware so the delivery report working wasn't due to changing to a newer firmware.)

Edit: Almost forgot.I had the same problem with the EMS support.Now it works fine.It seems that the prompting seem edit solves a lot of problems.

You are right - I've just enabled it on V3xx (MLD) and now delivery report works fine.
