msnap relacement

does anybody know another program that takes screenshots of your phone besides msnap? msnap doesnt seem to be working so does anybody know a different one?

At one time, mine not working either, but i tried by starting msnap 1st then plug-in my mini usb to the phone, try it... As long as u can connect to rsd, msnap should be no problem.

no none of the suggestions worked.

just to make sure, when you open msnap, there shuold be a bar that says motorola usb modem,

and you suppose to browse to the file where your phone connects to the computer? which is removable e: drive for me. but when i open my computers, it doesnt show any e: drive.

Mine, if it says like motorola usb modem, just click capture. If it says, smartlink modem, then it is not working.

There's no need to browse the drop down menu. Start msnap, plug in your mini usb and look at the changes at the bar, if its changed, then just click capture.

i used to open msnap plug in phone then repeatedly click capture right away ... always worked... also if you have p2ktools, you could click start phone in AT mode....sometimes that worked also

araeff, i think you have a different version of p2k tools than i do. i cannot find that on the top of the window.

oh araeff, i found it. it was similar to yours. the button was on the top right but was just a picture rather than yours so it didnt say 'switch to..' or anything

yea but the msnap still doesnt work. its ok, using msnap isnt top prioreity.

I never had problems with msnap.Always it worked fine for me.

Is your phone in data/fax connection?

i tried them all. i put it in data connection,memory card, usb printing, and they all dont work. on the msnap it says something like usb modem and then also data fax when i put it in usb printing. so i guess it does not work.

Maybe it has something to do with your Windows.

Maybe the firewall or antivirus?
