I have installed the latest version of Gmail on my V3i.
It works great - quite fast.
The only thing that I don't like is each time you open the app you need to grant the app permission.

Is there a way you can open the program without having to grant permission each time?

To unlock this setting, simply delete the file j2me_domain_registry.sm
On the RIZR, it can be found in a/mobile/certs/root/x509/kjava
I used P2KTools to access the file system.
I would back the file up just in case, but anyways, this is so much easier than editing each applications pat file. The hack also gives you a couple more settings regarding java settings in the "Games&Apps" folder

do you have to pay extra for using the google map and stuff on the rizr?

I have followed your instructions.
Both Gmail and dictaphone still request user to grant access upon opening the applications.

Perhaps this is my problem and not permissions.
Perhaps this is why software like Opera Mobile and Gmail are requesting permission.

***Upon checking my java web sessions settings, all the settings for my provider are present.

However there are many settings that are blank or that I do not understand.
Since when I launch the java web session I receive the message setup incomplete I can only assume that I need to further edit my java web session.

Can anyone help?
