I messed up my Z3

Hi everyone, I need a big help. I was flashing my Z3 with this "Monster Pack with iTunes" using "flash&Backup 3.0.6", and the result was a BIOS-like permanent black screen, which says the following:

I'm really scared, I didn't make a backup, and I wish I can find a download link to the original files to restore my Z3, and I need your help if there is any other way to fix it.

If there is any flash file which can restore my phone, any WAY to restore my phone..... please!

When you connect your phone to your computer with RSD running does it recognize it? You can check in our Downloads section and see if you can get a MP which matches yours. Did you note that before you flashed? You really are supposed to back up before you do anything like that. The MP that you were tying to Flash I believe probably has RSA removed and your Phone does not have it removed hence your conundrum. I

Yes, I made this big big mistake because I didn't educate myself enough before trying to flash my phone.

-It WASN'T RSA removed, and the MP I installed requires the Z3 to be so,
-Now I got another problem, the battery is not fully-loaded, and the USB programing seems to be disabled because of that,
-I downloaded a pack which doesn't require the phone to be RSA removed, my question is:

How do I check if they are Boot Loader compatibles? (the z3 and the pack)
How can I charge the battery? Do I need another phone to do so?
What if I flash without the battery being fully-loaded?
How can I do the backup next time with "Flash&Backup 3.0.6"?

You may need to get another phone to charge the battery or just borrow a friend's fully charged one. If you flash with out a full battery you can end up with a brick since Flashing consumes alot of battery power. I think you should be able to make a full backup with a Registered version of FB3. Did you verify that the Phone is still being recognized with RSD lite. You should use this for flashing. RSD ver 3.9 is a good one. Make back ups with FB3, at least that is how I used to do with my K1.

Wow, that was really helpful!
First of all I need to charge the battery somehow, and I already have that RSD 4.2.
In order to remove that so called RSA, I changed the Boot Loader ver. with Ramldr2, set to 0300, and then I need to use the RSD, but it was here when the battery happens to need more energy.

Charge the battery and then continue with RSA removal.
If you have K1 the battery is the same

you can also splice a usb cable and use it for power. you plug the full usb cable used for flashing into the phones mini usb port and you splice a second cable, placing the red wire to the outside possitive and black wire to the outside negative. see this pic for reference.http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y103/miketheevil1/z3.jpg

My phone is back, and fully-operational again (and far better than before, I'd say). I followed the battery and USB cable trick (used my wall charger instead) and that "RSA removal tutorial for Dummies", since it installs its own pack, and... got it workin' back. Thank you to all of you who helped me out, now I'm introduced with modding, and I aknowledge 100 times more than yesterday, when my phone was gettin' messed up by myself!

:? Hi everyone. I wish I found you all earlier, before I too messed up my z3 by being uninformed and too quick to act. purchased an unlocked z3 tried to unbrand it but after the flash it would not stay powered on.

Flashed: R452f1-G-08.04.09R using rsdlite
I did not do a backup of the original s/w (stupid) didn't know I could or how to

The original s/w was R452f1-G-08.05.04.R The person who gave me the UN branding pack and instructions suggested I got to Moto update to return the phone to its original software. Got an error half way through, update terminated and locked the phone. So now i started reading, for days. Someone else tried to help, and I do appreciate it. did an rsa removal and unlock with soft tp. it worked to unlock the phone but I still had issues with the thing staying powered on. I flashed an rsa removed pack as suggested got several error messages and fixed them following the guides:
sig err 39:02 did soft tp got error DEA1
repaired rsa got dual boot
reflashed a different mp got terminal blocked.......fixed that from the guide

and now it boots to the main screen :P but if i try to go anywhere from there it shuts off. when i hit one of the smart keys i got : system error! then it shut off. all the other navigation keys will also shut it down. the soft key will initially take me to the menu screen then shuts it off. I tried several other rsa removed packs with no luck.

read more,lots more. don't understand PDS or Seems but I think it has something to do with one of them. SEEMS probably? could the moto updates done something to disable the phone since the z3 is a t mobile exclusive?

got the full paid version of FB (a little late, stoopid noob)

Moto updates have been know to be trouble some. Get a compatible MP for your S/W and flash that as your phone is booting. Use RSD lite to flash and FB3 to back up.

tried to flash that new MP modded pds rsa removed . backed up my phone, used rsd lite in blank mode and it failed:

i assume you mean iZ3 since absolute zero doesn't have a modded version. ALWAYS use flash&backup when flashing your Z3. rsd lite really is only useful to us for verifying that our phones are in blank mode.

yes it does matter. you can only flash H6 from B firmware. is your phone rsa removed? you don't see too many rsa removed phones running F1 firmware.

ok well you need to get switched over to B first. not sure how that's done on rsa removed phones. i usually suggest doing that before rsa removal.
