Spend the $10-15 for the Subsidy Code and consider it

Buying an locked or unlocked phone?
Planning to mod your phone with new firmware?
Well, buying an unlocked phone is no guarantee it will
stay unlocked.
If you flash locked firmware to your phone, it will be locked,
to the firmware's carrier.
Without the subsidy code, there is little you can do.
I do a lot of testing and without the subsidy codes for each
phone, they would all be locked to various carriers.
Think carefully before flashing.
