Has there been any update on being able to backup the Cingular V3xx?

No sir. We are still waiting and waiting and waiting. I wish someone could get one from cingular.

I tested it and flashed my phone with RSD Lite 3.6
Works fine, but is locked to Cingular.
I have the unlock code so no problem.
It may not work on the newer AT&T branded phones.
We are working on creating the files so backups can be made.
Everyone with a Cingular v3xx owes vermsky a big

Did you split the MP?Did you delete the other files and leave only cg15.smg, RAMDLD and hmg files?

No I made just a backup of the drm. I did not use a full MP. Should I have? Using only DRM backup those where the only 3 files in there.

I guess I am no good at this.(i did notice the cingular DRM do not have all the drm as the maxx and the sizes are different)

All tough I did make some for V3x and had no major issues. ( blue cheese- dg gold- iphone) But I used RandomShx to complie and fixed checksum with seem edit.

I think it has to do with the file FB3 generated. I think it still missing something. I have contacted Hagan to see if he can do something. I don't think they know where the test point is yet.
But he can use mind for testing. I will not send NOT send it back for another replacement. Worst case is I will wait until test point is found and then try my backup.

fldodger,

If you can still put it on bootloader mode, flash the file I posted on MotoX. That is a 1FF file and would likely recover your phone.

If not, please send me a PM on MotoX.

Is there any reason that CG17 has no discription on FB3? I tried to do a backup and it errored when it got to this file

I have no idea what is. But it has never stopped me backup my phone.
