After using test point (I didn't use smart clip) I tried to flash the v3xx with rsd lite v4.1 then at the end a message pop-up saying something like "error get security...." (sorry I can't remenber the rest) then the phone switched off and never turned back on again since!?!?
I try to put to charge = nothing, try to connect to pc = nothing,
power-on or * + # + power-on = nothing, tried to use test point again but nothing works the phone is completely dead.

Any clues??

I'm wondering if I burnt something because this is such a small thing that I'm not sure if I didn't touch any of the other points near the test point causing a short circuit. I don't know much about this so I don't know if a short circuit could have actualy happened touching nearby points...
I didn't do anything else.
Could it be burnt or is it just some software corruption?
Should I use some kind of special tool like "smart clip" or something to revive it?

If anyone has a solution to revive this phone pleeeeease post it.
I'll be waiting for some answer...

Thanks in advance

If it not turning at all it is dead. Bricked.

@fldodger

so what do you suggest I do to unbrick it?
should I get some special tools?

I tried to Hold all three buttons in at the same time #*POWER...while still holding them in , put the battery in, and nothing.
The phone doesn't respond to anything.

what should I do?

Do you think the phone is broken (burnt) or is it just a matter of being able to swich it on somehow* and flashing the right software??

*what's the most reliable method to switch a bricked phone back on?

Thanks

That does not sound good there darlindo.

Maybe try testpoint again and flash your backup.

Just search google or look on Ebay. Some call it Mother Board or Some call it Main board.

I have been looking for one for MY Maxx for 1 year now.

Here's the thing, the testpoint for Argon and ROM4 based phones is really different from LTE and LTE2 based phones.

On LTE and LTE2, you just ground the testpoint and you get it to go in blank mode.

On Argon/ROM4, you need a special testpoint adapter. Doing a regular grounding of the testpoint on these phones fries the flash chip.

Good luck finding a new mainboard.
