That could happen. You can open the battery cover, and pull out the battery. Below you should find a sticker with (usually) some text. Code after SW: is what you need to post, so that we can determine what Motorola model do you actually have. :smoke:

Is there somewhere some code that starts with "R60_G_80"? That's the software for ROKR Z6. :smoke:

U.S. Cellular uses CDMA network. You have a CDMA phone.
There is not much that can be modded on it.

CDMA phones are hard to hacking - yes.
I found one MP FW --> ALT_Z6M_02.0D.0BP_PRIoo41586_MONSTER_01.shx.rar (http://rapidshare.com/files/108942431/ALT_Z6M_02.0D.0BP_PRIoo41586_MONSTER_01.shx.rar.ht ml) , but i don't guarantee, that will work @ ur phone and i think do not have any mod extrass. I'm not very familiar with CDMA phones - sorry can't help.
Edit: I found THIS (http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1277708) may help.

Don't give up. Just switch to GSM like ATT. Honestly, I used to deal with CDMA, but I'm a customize FREAK, so thats when I went to cingular/ now ATT :yeah:
