We need more members, no offense! But this place is like a deserted ghost town, especially in the hacking forum. How can we get this place going?

Don't forgot I have only been in town for about 8 weeks.
Search engines take 8-10 weeks.

But yes I agree I can always use new members. They will come.
I have done what I can do. I have no money to spend on the site.
The donation are not coming. Even with all the special request we do and skins we fix from others not making them complete.

As far as the money goes, I am trying to limit the advertisment. I don't want a website full of it.(advertisement)
But if you have any suggestion please post them.

I think the site has grown better than others.
It takes time and as fldodger said it takes money.
The quality of a site is not measured in just members.

FL with all the hard work you put into this place I am proud to be part of it as I got the opportunity to come here while it was young. I now have her e as one of the main sites I have to check once I am online. I may not be able to help much but I still try to if I can. As for the donation, I would love to donate but I do not have any ways of doing this but rest assured I will figure something out because I would like to see here prosper. This is not an empty comment, it may take a while but I will figure it out. We are going to strike it big I say..I can see it now...all the lights around MM.us..VEGAS BABY!!...Got a bit carried away there butt you know where I'm coming from.

I think it'll just take a little more time once we get some ranking in the search engines. How about one of those "Hosting Cost Calculator" on the home page to encourage donations. I'm not sure where i've seen it, but it's a script that lists the total hosting cost and amount of donations, that has a list of who donated what. People love seeing thier name up in lights - right Wildcard26

Right there, lights for MM.us and then we do Hollywood! But I think we could all figure out some way to do this. As simple as it is just linking our name in our sigs can be a small step to our achievement. We will get there I can see it already. I think it depends on our patience, hard work and cohesiveness as a community.

No offensive was taken. MotoX has been only been around for 18 months.

Thanks to all the loyal members for sharing there feeling. Moto Modding.us will around and there is no need to worry. I have paid for the web hosting for 2 years in advance.
I started this without concern for make money. That is way I have limited the advertisement.

It's actually a simple process.
However it takes a little time to see results.

By the total number of hits.
type in motomodding in google we are on page 2 2nd one.
And click, I do it at least once week. Being on the 2 nd page is not bad.

If you type moto modding we are 40

One thing I forgot to mention.
It helps if the webmaster includes a Meta Tag in the sites html code.

Fldodger is absolutely correct.
the hits tell the story.
No 2 is just a short cry from number 1.
we should be patient.
It will happen.

You must remember this site has only been around for a short time.

I use the "Flock" Browser,Flock.com (http://www.flock.com) it's built on the very stable and secure MoZilla framework - and there are plenty of extensions or, plug-ins available for it, and one in particular is called Me.dium (http://me.dium.com/tutorial). it's a sidebar plugin that allow you to chat with other users that are using the Me.dium extension and it will even display a link to pages that other users are viewing - so I use this whenever i am online - and maybe a few of the other users will click on the link to "motomodding.us"
