Restoring my seem to factory settings

Hello, I have an At&t razr2 v9x, but I unlocked it with subsidy code in order to use it with T-mobile.
My problem is that the first day I got the phone, I got a little annoyed about the 300k limit when uploading a ringtone to the phone. In foolishly thinking this would solve that 300k limit issue, I did something stupid, not damaging to the phone, but I still regret doing it, since I really don’t wanna mess with this phone and I got it at a good price and was very lucky in getting at&t to give me a subsidy password lol.
Anyway, I went to some forum and uploaded a Fully Modded 0032_0001 Seem to my phone using P2KToolsVS. Here’s a map of that modded seem I uploaded to my phone: http://xlr8.us/hofo/map_p2k05.txt (http://xlr8.us/hofo/map_p2k05.txt)
I regret doing that and want to restore my seem to its original factory state. I didn’t make a backup of my original seem.
I have some questions first:
Since I uploaded that edited seem to my phone, would just a master reset/master clear (which one?) restore that seem to its original state or do I need to upload an original factory at&t v9x 0032_0001 seem to my phone?
I used P2KToolsVS, what I did was simply go to seem editing, and uploaded that modded seem from that other forum to my phone. In order to restore my phone, do I simply have to upload the factory seem the same way? And will uploading a seem overwrite the previous one? or do I have to delete the previous one first? All I did was open seem and then upload to phone. Just want correct instructions so I won’t mess up. (this question is assuming resetting phone doesn't do the trick)

Welcome to the forum Xorktont.

A master clear/reset wil not restore the original seem.
Uploading a 0032 seem to phone and restarting the phone will over write the current 0032 seem,no need to delete.

Are you not happy with the modded 0032 seem?
If you want it back original and know exactly what was changed we can change that seem back.

Another option is..im sure tommy would post his 0032 seem for you.

Tank is right.
First rule of modding is Backup.
Fortunately, your problem is easily solved by uploading
the proper seem.

Ok, so the program i used to upload the modded seem to my phone was P2KToolsVS. The way I uploaded that modded seem to my phone was: I clicked on "seem editor", then I clicked on "load from file", then i clicked on 'save to phone" was that the proper way to do it and is that the way I would have to load the factory seem I get from Tommy to my phone? I'm guessing this will over write the seem I have now right?

I posted the map of the modded seem in my previous post here, but since I am a pure newbie, i have no idea what those specifications mean and i really didn't notice any difference in the phone, but since I'm not gonna mess with this new phone, just want it set back to factory settings. i will mess with my old krazr though, that's where this forum kicks in :D thank you both again for helping me out.

As long as you have the proper seem selected in the middle of the program that sounds about right.
In your case you would have the seem-0032 and rec-0001 selected.
Load from file and save to phone.Restart and this will over write that seem.

Personally i never use that program for seem editing with my v9,i use this P2K commander >here (http://www.mmus.us/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=1987)
I cant find a guide for P2Ktoolsvs but there is a guide to using commander >here (http://www.mmus.us/wiki/index.php/Extracting_Seems)if your interested.
Stick with what your comfortable with and always backup.

Thanks again tankrider, after I upload the seem and turn off and restart phone, a phone master reset/master clear is not required right? Nor if i ever do a master reset/clear in the future, will it reverse back the changes, stupid question. Well, this sums up all my questions, next time, I will always have a backup, that's for sure. No there is no master clear/reset required.
And if you did happen to master clear or reset this would not change that seem.

BTW Xorktont, Feel free to mod that V9x all you want because if you mess up, I have a backup of the most commonly modded files for it. I've done some real stupid things with mine and still can't brick(break) it. Also, you can safely flash any font or DRM to the phone without actually having to mod anything. Good luck!:xmas::snow:
