on the screenshot of the wallpaper, the part above the soft key that says messages is alittle cut off. i have that for almost all of my skins and its kind of bugging me, does anybody know how to change it? is it a s4m thing?

Open your skin via S4M, and move that operator font (in the group element) to slightly up, and u can click Show Margin for u to see the border or that area.
