k1 f/w

is it possible that some phones and,or some s/w f/w operate better across differant carriers. i dont mean reception wise. please bear with me. i have a k1 that drops signal constantly on vodafone but not on orange.i put the same sims in my e51 its fine. with the k1 on voda if i go into any menu"s ,drop signal, with orange sim in its ok, i"ve tried all mps its the same. but not tried rsa removed. world record longest post i"m going for a lay down .ps help

Yes, different carriers will have different results.
One of the best carriers here is Verizon. Unfortunately it is CDMA based.
There is also a difference in reception between T-Mobile and AT&T here.
