When I turn on my phone my phone number is briefly displayed. I really don't like this and would like to turn this functionality off. I can't see a way to do this so I assume that it is a seem edit.
Any ideas?

Use P2k tools go to hidden setting>Phone Status> 4 from bottom> my phone number

yeah - I thought it was that seem edit too but it's not. In the phone status you would have slots for three other numbers (other than the phone) with this enabled and none with it disabled. This does not effect the phone number popup upon startup. I'll have to look thru all the seems again (I've been thru this a dozen times)
this pack I have on this phone is from Dmatt. It is so chock full of goodies I have yet to discover.
please let me know if you think of anything else.......

There was a seem edit on my old V3 that turned this functionality off.
The same should be on the V3i.I will have a look at the V3i seem map...

for now I have removed the number from the phone status. Without a phone number there is no popup. But that is not the complete answer. I still need to do the seem edit so that I can enter a number if I desire.
I have to brush up on seem editing. I have not done many. With the advent of P2KTools3 there is no longer a need to learn the old way.
