I had an old RAZR v3 that was unbranded, I used it for about 3 years and recently it started dropping calls and shutting it's self off randomly. So now I bought an unlocked RAZR V3xx from Cingular, so as you can guess it's full of nuisance Cingular branding and logos. I tried to use the P2K tools to remove the pics but the menu things are all still named stupid Cingular things, and that fruity orange guy shows when the phone is open. Basically how can I purge the Cingular demons from my phone?
My software is R26111LD_V_96.71.95R

We have many .cl (96x80)to choose from. Just upload to where the original is.
MAke sure to name it exactly the same name.

Ok so now it just tries to turn on but has a white screen and dies over and over.

Critical error 200B it says

Restore your backup.
What is it you tried to add?

I just added those menu files
And I can't restore the old settings because it won't boot it just restarts over and over

Did you make a back up. Of your phone if so flash it your phone

I won't do anything other than turn off and on over and over so I can't get the program to communicate with it long enough to reflash it.

Put it in Bootloader mode. You said you could get into BL mode

Yeah it goes into bl mode. Where's the RSD program I can't find it?

You have to google for that. It is a warez program and we can not offer it.

It's doing it's thing now 60% Also the RSD program tried to install 3 backdoors in my system. :P

And after trying all 0's it says "contact operator" which I think is french for "break me in half and force a Cingular rep to eat me"

Do have your sim card in it? Do you have T-Mobile or AT&T?
Too funny. You will want to do a lot during modding, that is part of the fun

OK well T-mobile says to call Cingular because they can't read it.

And Cingular said they wont give out subsidy codes to non customers. As I could have stolen the phone and tried to reuse it. What ever :thumbup:

If I buy a subsidy code and reflash in the future will this happen again? Or is the subsidy like the unlock and once it's open its open.

Once open it is open. But if you flash a lock a MP it will lock it again.
Best thing is after unlocking make a backup of your phone using FB3.

Ha ha I stumped to big guy! Just kidding I'm just happy to get the thing working again. Also I found a non-Cingular keypad on eBay for cheap that'll get rid of the silly jumpy guy logo. So that's sweet.

The code is the same.

Even if you flash a locked monster pack from some carrier from another country, the subsidy code will still work.
