hi there,
i'm new to this forum :)
i just dug up an old V3i from a dungeon somewhere, dust was all over the place :p
well i decided to make use of it and use it as a backup phone..
its got 0A.30 bootloader and firmware R479_G_08.B4.8DR
how old are those? :p
what would u guys suggest on a monster pack to upgrade to?
whats the latest firmware that isnt sticky?
i would prefer something with english language as i'm from Greece and cant read chinese :p i'll put a language pack (greek + english) as well after the firmware that u suggest.
so tell me please whats the richest monster pack and how to flash it in.
(got RSD lite at the moment)
thanks in advance for your help

Hey there. Lots of nice mp's around. All I can tell you is give them a try as how they are built they perform differently. Remember to backup before and stick to R479 and avoid stickies. I cannot attest for anyone MP as it has been so long since I had a V3i. Cheers!

u said stick to R479 firmwares..why shoudn't i try R47A? and whats the deal with R4441D? i mean i know R479 has DAP, R47A has itunes, but what is R4441D?
I installed D&G R479 which is ok but i wanted to try:
DmattDevs3CRv4.0 [MonsterPack for iTunes phones] (R47A)
how do i advance from R479>R47A? should i? :p

The R4441D firmware has iTunes with EDGE. You will have to convert your R479 to R47A. Check out THIS (http://www.mmus.us/wiki/index.php/Conversion_from_R47A_TO_R479) guide. That guide is for R47A to R479, but it should be the same procedure, just use THIS (http://www.4shared.com/file/28174982/ff288326/r479-to-r47a.html?s=1) conversion pack instead. Please verify that it is R479 to R47A conversion firmware.

i used the pack u proposed and successfully installed it..
its a very nice one indeed even though it wasn't R47A, but a modified R479 i'm very happy with it.
thanks for the help :)
