If I have the 16 digit unlock code from ATT can it be used to unlock this firmware ?Also does anyone know what the diff are btwn R2633121ER_u 9E.03.39R and this version ?
I flashed this fireware and didn't notice any difference.
My phone was unlocked and this firmware didn't re-lock it ( I tested it just to be sure )
And to answer your question, flashing fireware won't change your unlock code.

Did you flash the V9 or the V9X as there is a diff between them ?
Thanks

I flashed this new firmware to my phone (v9x) and I didn't notice any difference, my phone's unlocked and it did not lock my phone. I just have a suspicion that this firmware could be from a flex pay account or something international. The thing is that ever since I did this flash, when I dial 611, it takes about 40 minutes for me to get to a technical support agent, and when I do get to one, they have a weird accent, overseas, like indian tech support or something. Perhaps those who have AT&T do not experience this problem, but my phones unlocked and using it with t-mobile, I seem to be getting the flex pay t-mobile customer service from india, and it takes 40 minutes for me to get to someone instead of 1. Aside from that, I can't understand a word they say. I am switching back to my old firmware and hopefully that fixes the problem.

I flashed the V9X
Thanks, vermsky. :bravo: :bravo:

Just a note. I flashed my AT&T V9 with the appropriate Firmware update. Looked fine to me, everything worked....except....... One problem, the Web Browser could not get connected. As i need the phone for a trip, I flashed my backup copy and all is well. it gave me a scare. I'll deal with it again when I get back in a week.
FW version: R263311_U_9C_13.37R3 Upgraded to R4.
Used Flash&Backup
Anybody else had this issue?

Steve
