This is a long planned joined project that Dmatthew and I worked on very hard with hopes that it would finally see the light, and hopefully help to make someone's life a bit easier and more fun!!!

It contains mods and enhancements that I've done since I purchased that wonderful phone from Motorola called a KRZR K1 for myself for Valentine's Day 2007 (it was love at first sight actually)

....and mods and enhancements that Dmatthew has done as well...
including Motospeed enhanced DRM and so many that we can't remember, LOL!

Designed to offer you a One Step solution to that little phone you like so much. It’s tested and working, enhanced and boosted. Elegant and easy.

Yep, well I am in the testing phase with you MP now. I had to mod to get my Custwakeup/Custgoodbye back on. I decided to leave the DRM to see how it works. I got a bit of sluggishness at one point trying to access the pics. I also got 2 hangups while using the phone in p2ktools but I rather think that it was my fault there so that doesn't count. Otherwise I must say that this MP is really worth all the accolades it has gotten. Some really great mods in there and the skins are nice, only one thing I have with the Tuxedo skin, nice but can be hard to read with the colour clash (light blue with an off white background hard on the eyes). Only one thing though I need to get the MMA.UCP order because I rearranged my Menu and now the redWalkman skin is skrewy. Keep up the great work guy. Going to push this MP even more this weekend to see how far I can go with it and I will report back.

Ok so I pushed this MP even more and still found a bit of sluggish ness in accessing my pictures stored on TF card. This was the only thing that I can say happened. I also noticed that the wallpapers for the skins and were accessible from the Pictures and I decided to use p2k and set them as hidden so I wouldn't have to be going through them all the time. I also deleted the Videos that came with the MP because I don't really care for them and some of the ringtones went out the door too. Still get's my thumbs up and all 5 stars because this thing was flying other wise. I even kept the DRM and decided not to use mine, felt like a change......Excellent job on the collabo and hope to see more from you all...Oh and I still need the mma.usp order thank you...I really messed up mines....

As far as the order goes with the red Walkman skin, try this: Games, camera, message, shortcuts, dialing services, phonebook, connection, phonestatus, tools, settings, multimedia, webaccess..

And I have noticed a slowing down with my 2GB card inserted...

I'm using my phone w/o it most of the time now because I like the fastness I get without it, and I don't need all that music very often since I have it in my car and house anyway....just really need it when traveling at this point.

I plan to load select pictures and select music on a smaller card and see if that helps me with my speed.

Remember that the DRM included in our MP has been speeded up with motospeed, so if you ever decide to use another DRM that is not motospeed enhanced, your speed will decrease considerably..

It's good that you tested it so deeply... and yes 2GB will definitely slow up the phone, 1GB will face no problems (at least I didn't) .. so either being patient or lowering the card will work.

Hmm, I use a 256 MB card as I don't really do th mp3 player thing (like to be aware of my surroundings and my music loud). The lag is tolerable though. The onl other problem i notice recently, and it's not the MP, it that some skins in the MP seem to be a bit off e.g. in the Tuxedo skin, though a nice skin, the font colour conflicts badly with the background like in the phone book on a highlighted number, and in Windows vista skin the calculator is also off when displaying entered numbers. Don't know how this input will serve you but I just thought I would let you know in case you decide to release another version or something.

Good feedback.. The slight problem from those skins come from the fact that they are ports, so little details that go unnoticed ;)

I don't know about the lag.. I had two K1 at 1 gig card with pretty fast speeds..

I guess I did a full backup, all the options were marked. I have a registered copy, version 3.0.6. How long will take to flash the phone? Are any other MP for my phone?, basically what I want is to remove the company logo and made it more useful.
BTW I just unlocked the phone with the subsidy code!!!

5 - 10 min normally, there're lots more, but please look for an MP made by experience modders, it should work and it'll be good experience. In this case, DMatt & Steph are among the best...

Not sure what is different because it was like 1 week old before I flashed it and is not my primary phone, so I didnt used it much , I can't tell you about the performance, new features available, etc. But as far I see the phone have different menu, skins, no company logo, etc.

@Wildcard26 Could you tell me what edit you did with P2K to hide the wallpapers on the phone from being displayed in Pictures so that I don't have to select the View Storage Devices to Memory Card every time I access my pictures so that I don't have to go through the wallpapers. And also, what P2K program did you use (P2KAE or P2KTools). Thanks.

You can "hide" pictures from your phone with P2ktools (not sure about Commander). All you have to do is select the desired wallpaper and set its attributes to "Hidden". :thumbup:
