Does anyone know where I can download the latest T-Mobile stock flash for the K1? I'm not even sure what the latest firmware/flex is.
I know that I can use the Motorola Update service but I have an unreliable wireless connection and I don't want to be in the middle of updating my phone and lose the connection.
Here is the current info of my K1:
Boot Loader:
0A.B2
Flex Version:
GSTCNRYDST01NA102
Software Version:
R4527_G_08.42.09R
If anyone can point me to where I can download the latest full flash (preferably unlocked) that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Your best bet would be to use Motorola Update. I would go to a friend's house with a reliable connection and update there.

Your post seems to be confusing in a few points.
You said you have stock tmobile and your firmware is R4527. Stock Tmo firmware is R452F and not R4527.
The latest one is R452F_G_08.05.0BR_PDS002_LP0903_DRM0113_VSTG_30D_0 102030d_JPJAVA_G_08_R452FMY5_01_04_0FR_GSTCNRYRTMB 01NA0E6_1FF (https://rsddownload.motorola.com/download/R452F_G_08.05.0BR_PDS002_LP0903_DRM0113_VSTG_30D_0 102030d_JPJAVA_G_08_R452FMY5_01_04_0FR_GSTCNRYRTMB 01NA0E6_1FF.zip)
The firmware above is locked to tmobile so you have to remove the locks first before flashing if you want to keep your phone unlocked. Use sbf recalc to remove the locks.
AT&T uses R4527 and their latest is R4527_G_08.42.0BR_B_PDS014_LP1103_DRM0111_VSTG_30D _0d_JPJAVA_G_08_R4527_01_03_12R_GSTCNRYCIN01NA15C_ 1FF. I can't seem to make the download link from moto rsd to work but I can upload an unlocked version of the file if you need it. You can also check 4shared if it's there.

Yea, I can see where I may have been a little confusing. I actually do have an R4527 firmware on my K1. But my phone service provider is T-Mobile. I got the phone from China (off of eBay) and it came with an R4527 firmware but it had problems. It came unlocked and so I didn't want to immediately use the Motorola Update service to download the latest T-Mobile firmware since I knew it would lock my phone and I didn't want to try the unlock procedures without first getting use to modding the K1. I found Dmatt & Steph's MP which I downloaded and flashed because it was unlocked and I thought I would give it a try. Actually it is a nice MP.
My T-Mobile contract ends in a couple of months and I don't know if I want to change my plan to include My Faves. That is one of the reasons why I would like to get the T-Mobile firmware instead of Dmatt & Steph's MP that I currently have.
So in all actuality what I really would like to get is an unlocked version of the latest T-Mobile firmware for the K1. This way I can play with it without locking my phone and have to do the unlock procedure (which I must confess I am a bit hesitant at the moment to do). So if anyone has the latest T-Mobile firmware for the K1 that is unlocked it would be most appreciated.;)
Vermsky thanks for the link for the latest T-Mobile firmware. I did download it. But I would like to get an unlocked version of that firmware if I could and try the unlocked version before flashing the locked version.
Thanks everyone for all of your help.

You can remove the lock using SBF Re-calc (http://www.mmus.us/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=2036).
Press Open Flash-File and locate your MP. Press Split Flash File and then Open CG folder. Select the CG with the lock and then in the Advanced tab, check Remove Ask for Lock.

Thanks for the compliments on our MP, pecco. I was using AT&T when we made the MP (DmattSteph's), and I've been with T-mobile for about a year and a half now, and I admit, I can't use our MP well with my T-mobile service now either, and mine is flashed with Tmobile stock lol...I confess!
I've often thought of finding time to make our MP more T-mobile friendly, or like a version 2 for Tmo users, and might take a look into it over the next few days since I have laryngitis, not allowed to work or talk for at least 3 days, and am sick and can't work right now anyway, although it's been a long while since I've modded P2k...I'm gonna feel so like a noob again.
I got into the V8 (linux) modding for a while, and now HTC modding now (WinMo), maybe with some help of my p2k expert friends, (hint hint) we could get something cool, but I'll sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning ;)

Thanks again ZeroKnightXZ. That was easy! Originally I was hesitant to flash the stock T-Mobile firmware because the only unlock procedure I found was in the guides section and it had to do with using a modified russian bootloader. After reading that guide I was a little hesitant in trying it out. But using the SBF Re-calc program worked great!
I did find out one thing after I flashed the unlocked T-Mobile firmware and that was I could no longer use PKTools or P2KCommander to read the phone files. In PKTools it starts to read the a folder and gets about 50% or so then it shoots to the 100% mark and freezes the program. With P2K Commander it reads the a folder but I get an Invalid OPCode in the status area and I can't download the a folder to my hard drive. I could read the seems, gain table info, etc. but I could not refresh the phone to read the phone files (a folder, c folder).
When I flashed Dmatt and Steph's MP back to my phone I once again was able to use PKTools and P2KCommander to read the phone files. I just can't do it with this latest T-Mobile firmware that I unlocked using the SBF re-calc program. I suppose that it could be something wierd with the T-Mobile firmware but I have no idea.
But thanks again for suggesting SBF re-calc. :thanks:

ZeroKnight rocks!
I have had an accident and just got home from the ER, so my plans to try and make DmattSteph's MP T-Mobile friendly will have to be placed on hold for now...
If any of you p2k modder's willing to work on it, feel free you have my permission, and I'm sure Dmatt wouldn't mind either...
Keep me in your prayers fellow modders, I need them now... :worthy:

Good to hear from you Stephuhnator. :D Sad to hear that you had to go to the ER. Hope you are recovering. Let us know how things are going.
A week ago or so I was thinking about posting in the Dmatt and Steph thread about some questions I had about your MP to see if perhaps I might get one of you. Well, it turns out that I thought I would learn a little more about modding the K1 to see if I could figure out (or find out) some of the things on my own. I have made some progress this past week. I have tried the latest stock T-Mobile firmware that Vermsky gave me the link to. I unlocked it using SBF re-calc 128 and flashed it to my phone. I did some mods with that but I soon found out, for some strange reason, that I can't read the phone files with either PKTools or P2K Commander. I can mod it and it works but I can't read the files so that I can save them on my hard drive.
If you do consider a new mod for the K1 for T-Mobile users let me know!
In the meantime do get better. ;)

Vermsky was one of the people I was going to consult about somehow adding some Tmobile features to our existing MP to see if it's possible to combine code groups somehow to make a hybrid MP of sorts. You were lucky to be able to remove the lock, I asked for help removing the lock before flashing the T-mobile one day using sbf, but that buddy failed to mention to tell me he was drunk until after I flashed and it was locked, and he then admitted he instructed me wrong, LOL, so now my K1 is locked to T-mobile, good thing I'm with T-mobile for now.
Thanks pecco and darkone, means so much to feel cared about. Heading to the doctor here in less than an hour for follow up, still not feeling so well, hard to sit in a chair for more than about 20 minutes still now,
I'll let you all know, and I still have laryngitis...I need a miracle...I need to get back to work soon.
