This is my first skin. it is based on Nik_Walkman™ (http://www.mmus.us/forum/showthread.php?t=7514) . (big thanks for nikhil007 here!:drinks:)

heya s0ulfly_m if u permit i could edit this skin to suit the bestwebs e8 combo mp because half the icons which are needed in the menu for the grid are not present !!

be my guest:D just please keep the original aproach ( celtic, scandinavian folklore,maybe non christian, where it can be applied of course:D, for exemple i would use for mpkg box icon an old treasure box black and white of course and with the contrast very big like the other icons )

sorry if i was misunderstood :n:, i was just saying to try and keep the original ideea( the icons you will add to fit with the other) i`m sure you will do a great job:thumbup:

and the credits...should go to all of us who is doing this :y:, i just put a fingerprint in the sand wich will fade once the flux is coming.:whistle:

It is the same... i also use E8snap...
but instead of copying it to pictures using phone tools, i used filezilla and copied it to root of memory card...
rest telnet thing is same...
the cd command is for /mmc/mmca1/

it is a bit complicated so it is not advised to all...

the method given by tank is the easiest...
there is 1 mre method in which u can use a single image- mm_bg_top.gif

hi bestwebs . i tried a couple other guides and i always had the same problem. it said acces denied or smth like that. this time i folowed this step by step and it worked. Up until now i tought that on sticky fw it won`t work. looks like it works! :yahoo:. thanks for the nice tutorial!

I use E8, firmware x3 made by Jupiter.

According to the guide:

but i can't find the url. Telnet already.

In *.rar file, i didn't find .chm file to use.
I've got a problem with my cellphone: It missed the Modem & Tool option in Setting/USB Connection. Now, i can't carry out the telnet connecting.

hi ephemeron, first you should take care of the telnet using this tutorial http://www.mmus.us/forum/showthread.php?t=6624 , then this one to create the chm file you are missing http://www.mmus.us/forum/showthread.php?p=63258

you shouldn`t have problems if you follow the steps and read carefully.:thumbup:

wich background do you reffer to? ...the wallpaper on the main screen? and the font...have you followed the instructions where to copy the file to? there was a .txt file in there as well as the myfont.ttf . (Don`t forget to copy the medld.conf file<----it will make the font change).
