hey there guys....
i got it at last!!

heres the specs

S/W version: R479_G_08.B4.85R
Flex version: GSPSLQAORAWCGBOBD
H/W version: CFWG1550AB

whats the best combo to have etc,
and the best MP so i can see what modds i'm missing

If it is just to play with, I think the best one is the plain old v3.
Whatever can be done to phone can be done to the v3.

Bought and sold many Motos but my V3i is still with me. I have .85R on mine and it has been the best for me. Great phone!! Enjoy it.[b]

I have the V3i with iTunes.

I am using Dmatt's monsterpack version 3.
I have not upgraded to his latest monsterpack as of yet.

My wife uses my V3i and I am running 85R. Works beautifully. The DevDmatt is also good from what I have read on it. Back up what you have and try those. I personally avoided the 86R because I think it's sticky. By the way araeff get a K1...It Rocks ! :D

I'd go with R4441D firmware. BEST. FIRMWARE. EVER. :D

And what bootloader do you have???

For sure that 86R firmware is sticky, that is what came loaded on my v3i when I received it from Cingular! I have not been able to upgrade to any other version, yet.

@InsecureSpike - People say excellent things about DMatt's MonsterPack, but I haven't tried it out yet myself - I would more than likely go with a MP that he made - but I love to seem edit mod things myself - you might also serach for "supshow_custom_flex_v3i_itunes_ver2" works on my v3i - even without having iTunes on my phone.

I believe that I would go with DMatts newest MP.

That's good because I think there are more MP's for that than A0.52.
