sim problem??

hi guys ,
i've just been given a v3i,
but it's always got "Unregistered Sim"
on the home page although the sim is registered?
i've tried may different sim's (as the phone's unlocked)
but still no joy!
anyone have any ideas?

try seem edit for turn phone without sim.

can you use the phone? does it still dial out?

Doesn't Unregistered Sim come up when a phone is locked? I know you said it was unlocked but I vaguely remember a situation I had with a locked phone getting that message. I could be wrong though. If it isn't locked would a flash of an MP correct this? Just my 2 cents here.

well i'm so happy!!!

i bought a smashed up D&G v3i,
and swapped the PCB boards,

now i have one working v3i,

and a few spares parts!!
