hello guys...... recently purchased one razr v3i.... been trying to establish connection with my pc so i can start exploring the phone, but no can do coz i couldnt seem to have it connected. what should i do? what files or programs do i need to use or install to establish connection. i already installed P2k Commander.

Hey there. Congratulations on your purchase and welcome. Well firstly I think you need to get the correct drivers. You can google it using Motodrivers as your search key words. When you get it it may most likely be in a zip file that you can unzip to a good location then run the .exe file. Connect your Phone and when the computer says "Found new Hardware" click next and select "Install new hardware manually (advanced)" and browse to where you unzipped the Motodriver file. This may require you to install 4 devices (It may look something like "Installing Test Commander" or Flash Neptune" something to that effect) but each time point it to the folder where the files are unzipped. Usually or tool of choice for modding is p2K tools and RSD Lite 2.7 (or higher). It may require your to run RSD first and leave it running in the back ground and open p2K Tools as well as it may not, just a heads up on what to try when you finished installing drivers. Keep us up to date on if it works.

thanks guys.... got it connected........hmmmmmmmmm what would be the first and easiest mod that i could do.................btw, is it possible to store mp3 tones in the storage card and use it as ringtone?

I think it's with Stick Software R441D that facilitates this and T-mobile S/W.

You should be able too. Just try it out. Use your to format card. Load songs to data card
