From what I've read, all you have to do is delete your MP3 songs from the phone and from the memory card, then copy them all back; HOWEVER, in my experience, I've only had to pull the memory card out while the phone is on, wait a second or two, then reinsert the memory card and let MediaFinder rebuild it's data base. Once the database is rebuilt, all my MP3 songs on the memory card and in the phone are all available as ringtones.

The only problem I have with the MP3 ringtone mod is that the ringtones also play when I'm playing music. Without the mod, only songs on the memory card show up in the music player. I have a few theories I'll be experimenting with later that I HOPE might solve that problem but I'm a little tight on time over the next couple of days. If that sounds interesting to anyone, remind me about it on Tuesday by posting in this thread (otherwise I might forget) and I'd be extremely happy to get right on that ;)

This is from ModMyMoto "There is a seem edit that removes this limit and now you can make a bigger mp3 (tested a 5 MB, 192kbps file) to be your ringtone.

Its in Seem 0004E_0001. Offset 920, 921, 922 and 923 - Change value to FF.".Tested and it really works.
