Z8 USB fail

I flashed it (Elegance 1.0 MP), but, there is a problem : everytime I connect it as "Mass Storage", if I try to delete anything it's being deleted VERY slow (like the USB is 0.1 not 2.0 lol), and if I try to copy anything the speed is between 5 and 10 KB/s. What the hell? Is this USB 2.0?! :O

(This problem was as well on the Stock FW which btw didn't have even photo zoom or music/video rewind.

Oh, my bad, now it's transferring with an average speed of 55 KB/s. Went up to 70 KB/s omg :O . Anyway, this happened when I copied 3 MB of themes (7 files)...

90-117 KB/s when copying 2 MB of apps (4 files).

4-20 KB/s when copying 2 MB of images (30 files).

What the hell? Please don't tell me it's time to go to warranty and ask for money back...

does it happens with all the files ?

large files will take time...

also the speed depends on your memory card class...if its a class 1 or 2 its normal then
but if its above four ....then you have a problem

This memory card is a Transcend microUSB of 1 GB. I have it since july 2008. I used it in my ex-V360 and also in an iriver E100, and it worked FINE! I got up to 200 KB/s transfer on V360 (USB 1.1) and 2-3 MB/s on the iriver E100 (USB 2.0).

I also formatted the card with HP USB Disk Format Tool, then with the Z8. Still same speed.

No, the files aren't large. Check out the first post again - I edited it a bit :) .

I also tried with the SanDisk 512 MB microSD card included in the phone's package. Same issue...

Copying 3.23 MB (30 items) on the Z8 (that Transcend card) now, at 11.3 KB/s. Ow, no, 46.8 KB/s. Ow, 56.2 KB/s. Holy crap! 62 KB/s ! Back to 55... now 54... 52... 50... 48... 46... Transfer is done.

Copying 130 .mp3's (560 MB). 428 KB/s. 398. 415. 431. 424. 427. 424. 417. 412. 424 again. 438. 427 again. 422. 434. 446. 437. 428. 427 again. 428 again. 1 hour left.

Okay, when I copied 200 .mp3's on my V360 (same card) - 800 MB, it took 40 minutes. It takes 60 for 500 MB at "USB 2.0"?! ~X(

Okay, excuse my language...

WHAT THE F**K?!?!?! ~X(


Is it because the phone is new? I barely have it for 27 hours lol :P .

format the card with the phone itself......then see what happens
