The strangest thing happened to day, I am using DmattSteph's MP which has the facility to change the c.gif on the go. Thing is I put in some of the files I wanted in this folder and kept a couple of the originals. Found out today that some don't work. I checked the Pixel Size, File size , even changed the file extensions to lower cas if this was the problem and it it turns out certain gifs just don't work I have been tinkering with this the last 5 hours now with no result. I even reflashed my backup on in case it was that and it was a no go. copied over the file and nothing. Has anyone ever encountered this and what was you solution. Thanks in advance.

The only thing I noticed was that the file ext. changed to capital when I changed the name to c.gif. If I changed the file names on the computer and put them on the phone it shows as capital letters event though they were done in comon letters on the computer. It doesn't seem like I can put what I want on the phone now. here they are.

These were the most troublesome ones thus far.

I just put them on and the same thing occurs. I noticed the file names changed to Capital letters even though it's in common and in P2K the files extension is Capital. I am wondering if this is a software problem in the MP.

Used P2k and even set my phone to Memory Card and put them on the card first. After Umpty-Something attempts the file name changes to capital letters even though it was in lower case on the computer and in p2k even when I upload to the a/picture/ folder for the c.gif the file still doesn't work. Even the file that is the eye that used to work before stopped working and now it doesn't once file name is changed on the computer or even on the phone for that matter.......Probably a sign to try the Spike now :)

Just deleted the whole file from the b drive using p2K and recreated it. Uploaded the gifs and it seems to work now. But this is some real strange stuff here. I am going to try this again and recreate the circumstances and figure it out. I will try to keep you posted on this.

Some newer flexes have "cl.gif" not "c.gif".
Maybe there's a conflict?
Check the values in SEEMs 0061 and 0062.

If you are editing seems 0061 and 0062 the directory or location where c.gif is stored is in that seem, we can change it by editing it with the notepad, maybe you have the wrong path assigned there...

Hey I got through with this already. I had explored that option as well but wall was well there. It was the method I was using to put the file on the phone (using is as a memory device). I used p2k tools and deleted and redid the folder, although deleting wasn't necessary but for thoroughness sake, and then recreated it and uploaded everything and all was well. Thanks for the suggestion though.
